Swap Week:  Nicole Prepares for Swap Week

  The next morning Nicole woke up eager to spend her first fill day as a girl.  When she went to the bathroom to pee she instinctively stood in front of the toilet for a moment before remembering she was a girl now and had to pee sitting down.  After finishing her business and washing her hands, she went back to her room and signed into Nick's Facebook on her laptop.  As she looked through the newsfeed she found that many of the students had began creating or reusing accounts they had created in the past for their Swap Week identities.  Many posts had links to accounts inviting others to join the Swap Week group and add each other as friends.  Nicole logged out of her account and went to the create account page.  She also went to Google and created an e-mail address for Nicole Anne Schaffer, the feminine form of Nick Andrew Schaffer.  After creating her profile and posting a few interests she uploaded some pictures from the photo shoot and some pictures she had taken trying clothes on with her sister the night before.  She joined the Swap Week group and read through some of the posts.  Almost immediately she began receiving friend requests and getting comments on how good she looked.  As she looked through the other students photos she noticed that even those who did not look convincing as members of the opposite sex still made the effort to present themselves as so.  Many of the girls had cut their hair into shorter, more masculine styles and some even had applied realistic facial hair.  The boys all had removed their body hair and those with short hair wore wigs to appear more feminine.  Nicole looked through the more convincing ones and was impressed with how good they looked.  After about an hour she logged out of Facebook and went to the bathroom to get ready.  

  She brushed her teeth then took off her night dress and boy shorts and stared at her naked body in the mirror.  Again she was in shock at how even naked there were no signs of Nick anywhere in her reflection.  Everything from her face and hair to her painted toenails exuded femininity.  Even the nipples on her breasts reacted just like a real woman's to the change in temperature.  She showered again like she did the night before then got out and wrapped a towel around herself.  She dried her hair like her sister had showed her and was surprised that even after the shower the edges of the breasts still blended naturally with her body.  She put on the new deodorant stick that her sister had given her and went to her room to pick out her outfit for the day.  After looking at several outfits she decided on a pair of short denim shorts, a tank top, and a pair of flip flops.  Underneath she put on her new swimsuit.  She grabbed a pair of sunglasses and a purse and went to the kitchen to eat some breakfast.  Her parents and sister were already there and greeted her as she came in.

"Morning Nicole," her mom said, "any plans for today?"

"Morning mom," she replied, "I think I might go for a drive then go to the pool for a while."

"Oh we should spend the day together," Megan said.

"Sure sis," Nicole responded, "that'd be fun."

   They finished their breakfast and said goodbye to their parents.  They got into their mom's car and Megan pulled out of the apartment complex parking lot.  Megan planned to give Nicole an experience in everything she enjoyed when she was in high school.  They first stopped at the mall and began going from store to store trying on clothes.  As they didn't have much money they couldn't afford much, but they each bought a couple things.  When they went to the check out counter at the Forever 21, the salesgirl remembered Nicole from the day before.  

"I see you're getting used to life as Nicole," she said smiling, "As you may have heard some students take jobs during Swap Week and we were wondering if you'd like a job here for the week.  It'd be a great experience and I think you might learn a lot working here."

"Sure," Nicole replied, "that sounds like a good idea.  When would I start?"

"Tomorrow after school," she answered, "the hours are flexible as we understand you'll probably be busy trying new things.  Just come in whenever you can and work for as many hours as you would like.  There's no obligation if you decide you can't keep working or if you have some after school activity or practice you need to attend.  If you are able to work though you will get discounts on merchandise around the store, so that's a great benefit of working here."

"OK," Nicole said, "I'm planning to join the cheerleading squad and might spend a few nights with new friends, but whenever I'm free I will be here."

"Cool," she said, "enjoy your week and we look forward to seeing you again."

  As they left the store Megan congratulated her on her new job.  As they walked through the mall, they stopped at a few stores to get Nicole some new items for her room.  After buying several things, they dropped everything off in the car and went to grab a quick lunch at the food court, then went to the movie theater.  They watched a romantic comedy together and Nicole found that while it wasn't the kind of movie she would see as a boy, it was a pretty good movie from a feminine perspective.  As they left the theater Nicole and Megan discussed the film and grabbed a coffee at Starbucks before leaving the mall.  While at the mall, Nicole became uncomfortable when guys would check her and Megan out.  As she looked more closely, however, she realized that most of the guys were girls from her school getting into their Swap Week roles.  Even though she knew most of these guys were really girls, she still felt weird getting this kind of attention.  Over the course of the week, however, she would get more used to it and even start to enjoy it.  

 They took a drive back to their apartment complex and went to the pool.  They took off their shorts, sandals, and tank tops and lay out for a while in the pool chairs before going to the jacuzzi to relax.  Because Megan had never participated in Swap Week because she had finished high school before moving to this town she wanted to help Nicole enjoy her Swap Week as best she could and teach her as much as she could about being a girl.  As they relaxed in the jacuzzi she gave Nicole tips on boys and dating as a female.  Nicole told her she might try going on a date and Megan was excited to be there to help her out along the way.  After a little while they got out of the jacuzzi and dried off.  They gathered their things and walked home.  

"How was your days girls?" their dad asked as they walked in.

"Pretty fun," Nicole replied, "I've learned a lot in just this short time.  It's different being Nicole, but so far I've been enjoying it.  I also found a job at Forever 21."

"Well, you're doing quite well," his dad responded, "my first Swap Week as Brianna didn't go quite as smoothly.  You're lucky you have your sister to help you out."

  They went to their rooms and took turns taking a shower.  Nicole put on her underwear, a pair of girl's sweatpants, and a tank top, then went to the computer to check her Facebook.  She accepted her friend requests and soon had more friends than Nick.  She also posted some pictures she had taken with Megan during the day and looked through some other peoples profiles and found they were creating interests for themselves much different than their usual interests.  Some science club members were planning to spend the week as goth girls and some of the cheerleaders were planning to spend the week as drama kids.  Most of the students changed their interests each Swap Week to gain insight and experience into campus groups they know little about and many come away enjoying some aspect of their Swap Week identities interests a little more when they return to their normal lives.  Nicole decided in addition to joining the cheerleading squad she would also join the student council to gain a better understanding of other student's interests in campus activities.  As part of this she would also help plan the Swap Week dance.  While she would never agree to participate in such activities as Nick, she realized that Nicole was the kind of girl who would enjoy such an experience.  She signed out of Facebook and went to the kitchen to have dinner.

  During dinner they watched the Kardashians, a show Nick would never watch, and Nicole found some parts to be pretty funny.  After dinner she watched TV for a while with her family, then went to bed early so she'd be well rested for the first day of Swap Week.  Before going to bed she put up a few posters, including a Twilight poster and poster of Johnny Depp, and a lamp she bought to make the room more her own.  She took off her bra and makeup and put her tank top back on and went to bed.
